BBC Radio Lincolnshire Make a Difference Awards 2019

The BBC Radio Lincolnshire are running the 2019 Make a Difference Awards to celebrate members of the community who make a difference.

There are 5 categories to nominate for and the winners will be invited to a gala awards evening in march 2020

Inspiring young person of the year:
Awarded to anyone aged 13-25 who is a inspiration to both young and old.

Uniform hero:
Awarded to a member or team of emergency service personnel, NHS staff or the armed forces for commitment to their profession.

Good neighbour of the year:
Awarded to an individual or organisation that helps make their community a better place to live or work, either on a regular basis or through a single act of kindness or courage.

Fur’ever Friend of the year:
Awarded to an individual or group who goes out of their way to care for animals.

Green team of the year:
Awarded to a group of volunteers who have gone the extra mile to make environmental improvements in their community.

in addition there is “The Yellowbelly Award” which will be presented to the person who scores the highest marks out of the 5 categories
