Thursday June 27 2019, 9.30- 4.30 pm
Abbey Access Training, Arboretum Lodge/Monks Rd, Lincoln LN2 5HU

Still not wholly confident with Data Protection, GDPR and Privacy?

This course will get you to where you need to be whether you have no operational policy or would like to review and improve your existing policy. By the end of the course you will be confident in your processes, policies and what constitutes a data breach. The course combines the UK Data Protection Act and the European Union (EU) led changes on Data Protection.

The course starts with an overview of the UK Data Protection Act, the rationale behind it and its links to other laws governing the employment of staff and provision of services in the context of handling and processing data.

Part Two of the course then probes the GDPR in detail concluding with advice on how to identify & implement required changes to your existing Data Protection policies and responsibilities.

The course concludes with feedback and advice on your own data protection policies and procedures with effective checklists and ideas to test your provision against expected best practice. Further sources of support and help are signposted at the end of the training and our experienced trainer will give post course support if required. Fees – £40 for the day.
