Headway Lincolnshire is a local brain injury charity that provides information, support and understanding to Brain Injury Survivors and their families in Lincolnshire and have supported many of the people we support over the years.

Lincolnshire has one of the highest rates of brain injury in the UK with over 3000 people each year being admitted into hospital with an acquired brain injury in the County.

As anyone directly affected by brain injury will tell you, it’s not just the individual that is impacted. Relationships can be altered in an instant, with the ripple effect of brain injury changing the lives and futures of partners, family members and friends.

This year’s Action for Brain Injury Week is on 17th – 23rd  May, with Hats for Headway on Friday 21st May. They would love you to join them in getting involved with raising awareness of Brain Injury and help with our fundraising efforts. They are asking for you to wear your wackiest hat and if able to make donation of £2, or whatever you can afford to Headway Lincolnshire. You can donate directly through Headway Lincolnshire’s Just Giving Page https://www.justgiving.com/headway-lincolnshire

Why not get your friends, family and colleagues involved too?

Headway Lincolnshire will be holding a competition with two prizes – one for the best individual photo and the other for the best group shot. Please remember to take plenty of photos (with consent)  and share them with us on our social media pages.

If you would like further information on Hats for Headway Day, or the work that the charity does please do not hesitate in getting in touch with Ann-Marie Smith on  Email: info@headwaylincolnshire.org.uk  Tel: 07546592526.
