The Foundation has been developed by The Parrot Zoo Trust (Registered Charity No. 1162135) and offers peace of mind to parrot owners who may be worried about what will happen to their bird if they are ill or are no longer able to look after them.

The Foundation has been created mainly due to the generosity of a lady called Doris Johnson who gave us her parrot, Pepe, when she felt unable to care for him.

The Foundation was launched on Monday 1st August and is a service which is completely free of charge.  There are no hidden costs or expectations placed on anyone interested.

The Parrot Zoo Trust is the registered Charity (No. 1162135) which encompasses the National Parrot Sanctuary, offering long term care for parrots who are no longer able to stay with their owners.

If you or anyone you know would like more information, please do drop us a linepepe@lincswildlife.com and one of the team will get back to you.
