The Lincoln Volunteer Co-ordinators’ Forum is for anyone who supports or manages volunteers, or is involved in local community organisations and projects. The theme of our April meeting is Spring Updates and we will be hearing from Lincolnshire Action Trust, Home-start Lincolnshire and Lincoln Area Dial-A-Ride. We hope you will also come with your news and information to share. We very much look forward to seeing you.

Following our successful event in January this event will follow the new format for 2017.

Why not make a day of it with our Making Every Contact Count training?

Making Every Contact Count

Making Every Contact Count Training is open to representatives from the local community, and voluntary organisations, free of charge. MECC Training gives frontline staff and volunteers the skills and knowledge to help clients find the right help, to address health issues and to make the link between health, well being and how these link to being work-ready. Up to date information and resources will be given out to help make effective referrals and signposting to local health and wellbeing services. It will also cover tools and techniques for supporting clients to make behavioural changes, e.g goal setting and motivation.
