Voluntary Centre Services is holding three popular Forum events during September. Find out more and book your free place here.

West Lindsey Voluntary Sector Forum takes place on Friday 8th September, 12pm- 2.30pm at Gainsborough Uphill Community Centre. The Forum is aimed at friends and representatives from the community and voluntary sector and includes a light, networking lunch. The September event has a health theme and will include a talk from Lincolnshire West CCG about activities taking place in the Gainsborough community.

Lincoln Volunteer Coordinator’s Forum takes place on Tuesday 12th September, 10am- 1pm at Ruston Sports and Social Club, Newark Road, Lincoln. 

Lincoln Volunteer Co-ordinators’ Forum is for anyone who supports or manages volunteers, or is involved in local community organisations and projects. It is a place to share best practice and the latest news through a range of speakers and the opportunity for networking during the event and over a light lunch.

The September forum will include speakers from: Addaction, Lincolnshire Credit Union, NW Counselling Hub and the National Citizen Service.

North Kesteven Voluntary & Community Forum takes place on Thursday 28th September, 12pm- 3pm at St Denys Church Hall, Sleaford. 

The Forum is our regular networking and information event for voluntary and community organisations featuring speakers, news and funding updates. It starts with a welcome and introductions followed by a networking lunch and key speakers. There is also the opportunity for you to share information about your own organisation’s services, projects and promote your events.

Morning workshop – Recruiting Volunteers (10.00 – 12.00)  Please book separately (link opens in new window)

This two hour workshop considers why people might volunteer, and how to overcome barriers which could prevent people from offering their help.  It looks at the importance of first impressions and how to create and promote clear volunteer opportunities.

This workshop is free for volunteers and there is a small fee for paid staff. Cancellation fees apply.
