The Healthwatch Lincolnshire team has revealed the findings of its 2021 online ‘Life in a Care Home’ survey, which was developed to delve into the experiences and outcomes of living in care homes across Lincolnshire, and any impact on this due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The results were mixed with broadly positive and some negative experiences being reported and these are detailed in the full report available for public viewing on the Healthwatch Lincolnshire website: www.healthwatchlincolnshire.co.uk

2021 was a difficult year for many, not least for care homes, their residents, and relatives. Therefore, from the Healthwatch ‘Life in a Care Home’ survey findings it is encouraging that the majority of respondents had such a positive experience of being in a care home during such a challenging time.
