LINCOLNSHIRE ENVIRONMENTAL AWARDS 2020
The Award recognises and celebrates groups and communities within the historic county of Lincolnshire who encourage and protect the landscape and wildlife of the county.
If you have been involved with a project that has introduced positive changes that really make a difference, you should enter the Awards. By doing so you may inspire others to follow in your footsteps.
Judging is carried out by an independent panel of experts in their field, selected for their impartiality, experience and suitability for each category. The initial shortlisting is based on the information provided.
Shortlisted entrants may then be visited by a judge. Finalists will be asked to make a short eight minute presentation of their entry to the judges on Thursday 4th June 2020 at the Bentley Hotel in Lincoln.
Finalists are invited to a Gala Dinner at the Bentley on the evening of June 4th when the winner of the category as well as the overall winner of the Lincolnshire Environmental Awards will be announced.
Conditions of entry
For the initial stage of the competition entries should be a single page of 250-300 words and no additional documentation or material should be included. An entry form is provided on our website
You can enter directly or you can nominate a group for the award who you feel should be recognised for their work.
The Lincolnshire Environmental Awards are not open to anyone connected to the sponsors or organisers.
In all matters relating to the awards, the decision of the judges is final.

It’s easy to enter. All you need to do is write 250-300 words describing your project and how it contributes to the environment or sustainable development. Entries can be made online at: www.lincsenvironmentalawards.org.uk
