‘Safeguarding for Everyone’
Voluntary and Third Sector Briefing
1st December 2021
Following on from their inaugural series of Voluntary Sector briefings, held earlier this year, the Lincolnshire Safeguarding Adults Board (LSAB) and Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP) will be continuing to hold briefing seminars for those in the Voluntary and Third Sector.
In the first of these sessions, there will be input from Dan Moss, Temp Area Manager of Prevention, Protection & Service Support at Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue, who will give an overview of their role and talk through their ‘SHERMAN’ campaign.
The SHERMAN campaign highlights seven factors that put people at greater risk of having a fire, or being less likely to react to a fire. It aims to increase both public and professional awareness of these risk factors, and encourages them to contact with the fire service through a safe and well check.
The session will also encourage wider discussion around what the role of safeguarding lead is for you, and how you can get and stay in touch with your peers and existing networks for support.
Once you have registered the event link will be emailed to you. This event will be hosted online, via Microsoft Teams.
The virtual session will run for 1½ hours, with the option to participate at either 1.30pm or 6.00pm
