I’m Louise from Plastic Free Lincoln. We are a local campaign group working towards plastic-free community status for the City of Lincoln – however, we can’t get that status without your support!!

We are affiliated to the charity Surfers Against Sewage and we are working to spread the message that there are alternatives to single-use plastics.

We are working with the City of Lincoln Council, local schools, businesses and residents to reduce and remove single-use plastics from our homes, schools, community spaces and community organisations.

We would love to work with you and all we ask is that you take a look at our ‘Plastic Free Pledge’ and if you would like to support us simply pop your name on the pledge, take a photo of it and email back to us. It would be great if you could put your pledge up where people can see it! Let’s celebrate working together!

We also have posters that suggest simple swaps away from single-use plastics that people can make that you may be happy to put up for us.

It would be great if we could come and chat to you in person but with the current global situation we completely understand that this may not be possible at present. When times allow, we can come with our small stall and chat to people using your services and we are always available for talks and presentations!

With your permission, we also like to shout about our Community Allies on our social media pages (find us on Facebook and Instagram).

I have attached our Community Allies leaflet for you and our Plastic Free Pledge and please do get in touch if you have any questions.

We look forward to hearing from you.
