Pelican Trust was established in 1989 to provide high quality training and work experience in a supportive environment. They are there for people who wish to work after a period of illness, or any other reason which has left them lacking in confidence.

The charity is proud of its achievements of supporting over 900 people back into work since the charity started. Their uniqueness is also that they provide a collection of businesses on one site which are designed to give people the opportunity to retrain in a supportive and caring environment.

To help build on the success they have established already, they are currently seeking people to join their Board of Trustees. Whilst they are keen to hear from anyone interested in this role, they would be especially interested to talk to you if you have skills and experience in any of the following: marketing or communications, finance, funding or fundraising, contract management or strategy oversight.
