Mansions of the Future are hosting a couple of free events on the Ermine in November
Free communal Lunch and Map-making event
Tuesday 5 November at 12.30 – 2.30pm, Ermine United Reformed Church, 43 Riseholme Rd, Lincoln LN1 3SN
Over the course of eating a free lunch together and getting to know the group, design collective ON/OFF will host a map-making workshop with residents.
Providing materials and a structure, through a series of open questions, the group will co-create experiential maps which aim at communicating experiences of living in and using the Ermine Estate.

Join Lincoln-based historian and geographer Andrew Jackson and ON/OF design collective in exploring Lincoln’s Ermine Estate through the community archive.
The Parish Church of St John the Baptist holds a community archive for the Ermine Parish. This includes a great number of photos, plans, cuttings and other documents on the history of the church and the Ermine Estate. The earliest items date from the mid 1950s, when the estate was being built, up to the present day.
