Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

  • Monday to Friday initially with the site looking to start opening on weekends

Essential Experience:

  • Chef: 3 years

Desirable Experience

  • Working in a branded environment
  • Experience in cooking from scratch
  • Be a competent cook and baker

Job Duties:

  • Be able to work in an open kitchen and deliver customer service when necessary
  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
  • Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
  • Working in a training cafe where learners work to complete their NVQ qualifications
  • Create dishes to go on sale as specials
  • Complete all paperwork and kitchen records
