Vacancy: Part Time Support Worker- Leap

LEAP is seeking applicants who are interested in working with young people, to provide support to vulnerable young people living in LEAP supported accommodation, helping clients to access training and employment, attend appointments, work towards basic skills and independent living skills so that they are able to maintain their accommodation.

At least one year’s experience of working within a residential based setting is essential. Applicants must be self-motivated, reliable and dedicated to our aims and ethos. Full driving licence, business insurance and access to a vehicle is essential.

Working to a shift rota between the hours of 8.00am and 10.00pm (average 21.75 hours per week) that include evenings, weekends and bank holidays, plus on call.

The proposed shift pattern will be:-

Week 1        

  • Wed 2.00pm – 10.00pm – 7.5 hours plus on-call (10.00pm – 8.00am)
  • Sun – 8.00am – 8.00pm – 12 hours plus on-call (8.00pm – 8.00am)

Week 2

  • Wed – 8.00am – 4.00pm – 7.5 hours
  • Thur – 2.00pm – 10.00pm – 7.5 hours plus on-call (10.00pm – 8.00am)
  • Fri – 2.00pm – 10.00pm – 7.5 hours plus on-call (10.00pm – 8.00am)

Week 3

  • Wed – 8.00am – 4.00pm – 7.5 hours
  • Thur – 8.00am – 4.00pm – 7.5 hours
  • Fri – 8.00am – 4.00pm – 7.5 hours

Week 4

  • Wed – 8.00am – 4.00pm – 7.5 hours
  • Thur – 8.00am – 4.00pm – 7.5 hours
  • Fri – 8.00am – 4.00pm – 7.5 hours

Starting salary £11,310

Unsociable hours and on call allowances paid in addition to basic salary
