This is a full time position working a shift rota between the hours of 8am and 10pm (average of 37.5 hours per week) within LEAP’s hostel, Homer House and the Dispersed Houses (this will also include being on call between the hours of 10pm and 9.00am within a rota to respond and deal with any incidents). The role is to provide support to vulnerable young people living in LEAP accommodation. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Starting salary £17,550 annum plus on-call allowance of £15.50 per night

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be required for this position. LEAP staff must be at least 22 years of age, in line with the Commission for Social Care Inspection and section 29.4 Children’s Homes National Standards (2000)
In accordance with Part 7 of the immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
